Los Santos County Peace Officer’s Memorial is a ceremonial tribute organized by the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department to honor law enforcement personnel who have fallen in the line of duty. The memorial serves as a symbol of gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice, remembering those who passed away during active service (end of watch on-duty) as well as those who lost their lives while off-duty.

The ceremony traditionally includes the reading of names, the raising of the flag, a 21-gun salute, and final honors delivered by fellow officers. It stands as a solemn reminder of the courage and commitment shown by those who devoted their lives to protecting the community.

(( Within roleplay context, a character can be included in the Peace Officer’s Memorial through a Character Kill (CK) process, whether their death occurred while on active duty (on-duty). This is managed ICly to preserve the respectful tone of the memorial while contributing to the shared storytelling of the community. ))

Felix Schneider, Lieutnant
Assistant Commanding of Operation Safe Streets

Deputies was lured into a meet with informan near the northern gate in Grapeseed. At least one suspects confronted him, and during the altercation he was shot twice once in the chest and once in the head. The suspects then fled in a vehicle, leaving Schneider’s body at the scene.

The incident occurred on or around August 24, 2025, but the remains were only discovered by the investigative team on August 31, 2025.

End of Watch: August 24, 2025.
