On August 26, 2025 at approximately 2143 hours. The Los Santos Sheriff’s Department, under the supervision of our Operation Safe Streets, successfully conducted Operation Burning Rags with the support of tactical units. The operation led to the arrest of five identified suspects belonging to the gang known as B101, operating primarily around Grove Street Circle. Individuals are facing multiple charges including illegal possession of firearms, possession and distribution of heroin, and coercion of civilians to consume narcotics. Operation was carried out in Grove Street Circle, a known area of criminal activity. Suspects we are targeted after an ongoing investigation revealed their repeated involvement in violent criminal activity, illegal narcotics trade, and the deliberate endangerment of local civilians. Operation was necessary to restore safety and security to the community. Undercover surveillance and intelligence gathering allowed deputies to confirm the gang’s activities. A coordinated raid was executed, during which deputies secured the area, seized multiple firearms and quantities of heroin, and detained the suspects without any harm to uninvolved civilians.
Lieutenant Schneider added wrote: "To the people of Los Santos County know this. We see what happens on your streets, and we act. B101 thought they could rule Grove with fear and drugs. Today proves that no gang is above the law, and no community will be left behind.
Operation Burning Rags is a clear criminal organizations like B101 will not be allowed to terrorize our neighborhoods. Every street, every block, every community in Los Santos deserves to feel safe, and we will continue to dismantle those who threaten it. The investigation remains ongoing, and further charges may be added as evidence is processed.
