NARRATIVE
January 21, 2026 around 1623 hours, I Deputy Chen under 280 George 1. I was on duty when a report came in regarding an armed robbery involving a vehicle fleeing the scene. Shortly after, I observed a gray Sultan RS Classic matching the suspect description, bearing the license plate ZWBLWFRE, RO's Jack Scott. The vehicle was occupied by two individuals and was traveling at a high rate of speed, attempting to evade law enforcement. When I attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the suspects refused to comply and accelerated, leading to a vehicular pursuit through multiple roadways. One suspect was seen using an automatic firearm, while the second suspect was armed with a pistol. The suspects’ actions posed a serious and immediate threat to officers and civilians in the surrounding area.
The pursuit continued as the suspects drove recklessly, disregarding traffic signals and public safety. The suspects repeatedly attempted evasive maneuvers in an effort to escape. Due to the presence of firearms and the violent nature of the offense, the situation was treated as a high-risk pursuit. After a brief but intense exchange of gunfire, both suspects were successfully neutralized on the rooftop. The scene was secured, their weapons were recovered, and medical personnel were requested to respond. The area remained under police control for further investigation and evidence collection following the conclusion of the incident.
